Don't screw with the bee's

To me it seems simple when you look at Israel and its less than hospitable neighbours, sure some of the reasons for all the hate get complicated and slightly grey.
However reading about the recent conflict reminds me of the time when I was much younger when my friends and I where poking a yellow jacket’s nest at the back of my parents house for fun.
The yellow jackets where just going about their business of collecting food and keeping the hive healthy, that is until we decided to hammer the area their nest was located and then run seeing who was the first to get stung. Someone always did, and we eventually grew up with a respect for any insect with a stinger especially wasps.
It doesn’t take much brain power to see the similarities between Israeli’s and bees, dunderheads poke their “nest”, and they take flight and repeatedly “sting” those with the sticks.
Just like bees Israeli’s would like to just go about their business, but their always seems to be one dumbass that needs to poke their nest, or swat at them.
Myself I hate standing beside someone that has to swat at a bee just because it’s flying around them, why? Well sure as shit they swat I get stung.
Just like the civilians that are dead on the Lebanese side of the border they happened to be standing to close to those that like to swat, its as simple as that, sad but simple.
Trouble is some people never seem to learn.

Benchmark Moments

Its times like these – hot Sunday afternoons, when the girlfriend’s headed home, or my girls are not around or are soon headed home to their mothers that I go into neutral mode contemplate life, and thank my lucky stars for all the simple things life has taught me to enjoy and cherish.

I’m a lucky son of a bitch, my kids have never been a terrible burden, they have carried more weight on their shoulders then they had to, and even when I’ve told them to take it easy and relax they still look at some things in life with the seriousness of someone twice their age.

I’ve never had to hear one bad parent- teacher interview (although there has been one bump maybe two that I will try to address later). To be honest I’ve actually had teachers look at my ex wife and I with disbelieve that we are so blessed, I kid you not.

I’m not bragging I’m giving public thanks for my good fortune with my daughters.

They have bestowed a gentle responsibility upon me. I’ve been lucky as a father of daughters to experience a metamorphosis of beauty a steadfast adherence to a healthy innocence, and a rising grace in my daughters over these past 15 years.

It all started with a purple screaming baby we named Maggie , I must have held her it seemed for an eternity and I just cried tears of wonder and joy and looked into her eyes. I used to fetch her come feeding time and in the moonlight that little cute loving smile would melt my heart with its innocence and heavenly honesty, as I reached down into her crib to deliver her to her mother.

Then ten minutes later she would re-enact a scene from the exorcist and spew projectile vomit four feet across the room- thank god the eruption would start with a belch from hell. Before long at the sound I learned to be across the room out of range.

Maggie grew like a weed, and it soon became apparent her heart seemed to be made out of gold. Her hard work at school always was apparent, along with her love of girl chatter that matched her hair color. It wasn’t up until grade seven, that some real negativity had to be confronted and squashed. That day I must say was a soul shaking experience for me, as it was my daughters first taste of pure disappointment from her father in who she thought she was, and that she was stepping onto the wrong path in britches she wasn’t near ready for yet.

It was a meeting she apparently wanted with the teacher herself and initially just her mother, my instincts told me I should also attend and I did. Maggie seemed to think her teacher was rather hard on her, my thought on that was so….. It was probably deserved after all she was a student in Grade 7 and life is like that learn to live with it.

Anyways I was a good ditch digger, small town , things are conservative dad and kept my emotions in check until the teacher made the attempt to be politically correct and give my daughter the chance to state her ( that I determined by know) trivial and adolescent concerns.

I then became rather agitated as the righteousness of the situation evaporated into a scene from liberal prime time. I then had to tell my daughter in no uncertain terms that her teacher seemed like a nice guy to me and she was in class to learn, and if she continued with this attitude (at twelve) she would be uptown pregnant wasting her life with the other spoiled brats that thought they knew everything and had nothing to learn. After I was done dressing her down, the pivotal moment came, which I think decided the course of my daughter’s maturity, the ability to mature, and the ability to face her own morality. That moment was derived by my ex wife by fours words “your dads right Maggie”.
I shudder at the thought of having one of those less intelligent, hell with what’s right type of women, that would have sided with my daughter. Then it would be me surrendering to a chaos that I would only win against if I sunk to its level something I would never do, as life looms over those that fail to see things are arranged in ways for a reason so we learn and become valuable men and women, assets not liabilities.

I never got a hug from my daughter that afternoon as we parted and after as I took along walk at the local beach. Searching my soul I came to the conclusion as I most always have that I made the right decision “forcefully holding” my daughter face down over the abyss she was in danger of creating for herself, and my ex wife helped her have a good look that afternoon as well.

I then stopped at my mom and dads and wholeheartedly apologized for the hell I put them thru when I was a late teen; of course they lovingly said that’s alright.
I’ve always got off so easy.
I see that day as the start of my daughters surrender towards reason and an awareness of the harshness of life when we skip steps in our thinking and just become selfish.

Myself I learnt just how my parents must have felt, when I behaved the same.

One thing about families that are aware and honest, valuable lessons wait for all involved to learn from.

Today two years later I was privileged to sit down at a table at my daughter’s place of work (her first job) with my parents and my girlfriend and listen to her boss say very pleasant things about my daughter.
As my daughter waited on our table, I looked into those wonderful love filled eyes- the same eyes fourteen years ago that twinkled in the moonlight along with her smile from her crib, just for me and again I was reminded of all the beautiful things many fathers miss.

Passenger dares helmet law and PETA

Today while driving down 40 HWY on the way to the better halves new home in Wallaceburg , we where passed by a Harley. Not unusual, that is until the passenger pulled into view and ever so nonchalantly looked over as if to say...... what?

On stopping at the next light Allison and I splitting a gut laughing, manage to lightheartedly ask the question "shouldn't his passenger have a helmet", the driver replied with a big grin,"he's working on it."

"Learning" the hard way......... almost

Reading about the foiled terrorist plot, only leads one to believe this country is but a shade of what it was. The cities and their desire for enlightenment that blinds reason and responsibility muddy the waters of reason and fortitude.

I feel sorry for urban conservatives, and classic liberals that reside in the middle of bastions that sleepwalk believing in “Canadian values” manufactured by modern liberalism.

It’s ironic that you find more people expecting to be protected from their own stupidity by government, yet sit on comment boards and talk of the complexity and the grey shades of the problems three tonnes of fertilizer could pose to their backdoor?

They see reason in one ton homemade bombs, yet still want justice served?

They cannot find clarity unless they waste enough time until it shows itself to them rather blatantly. Just watch the MSM complicate the matter while they scratch their heads, its breathtaking.
How did we ever help win two world wars?
How have we even got this far as a country?
Could it be progress in this country when it comes to reality has been downward, the last thirty or so years?
We have become so touchy feely, so guiltless individually when it matters, that as a group we are seen to be people that wring our hands and see sorry as the only answer to terror to make up for it. A terrible weakness.

By group I mean liberals, and socialists that expect to live in a country devoid of any positive values when it pertains to an individual and a real contribution to their country. Well expecting not be bothered by cowardly violence even if it means their values lead to chaos and anarchy, as reason built on clarity and an expected personal responsibility is hard to find in a “solurbian”* mind.

Vigilance it seems when it comes to personal liberty ends at the end of a body part used in sexual gratification, or the end of a spliff. Notice also these same personal freedoms help mask the corrosiveness of reality that has existed since the beginning of man (however he came to be).

The ironic fact sadly is that those that hold on to spoon fed values powerful solurbians have fed to us for so many years, live in the center of a terrorist bull’s-eye, and can’t see the symbiotic relationship they have placed themselves in.

Natural selection is a bitch, I suggest they deal with it.

Solurbian – liberal or socialist living in an urban center that would rather roll over and die rather than call a spade a spade.

Some gas for the fire

Any bets when bullets will fly at Caledonia? Terrible thought you say, maybe so?

The real hilarious moments in this whole debate are the property owners that feel guilty enough to side with the natives. I do wonder how they would feel surrendering their home and property? I'm sure if things continue on this haphazard course they may get their chance to be altruistic and merrily take one for their country.

We can debate the virtue of peace , and being a “victim” till the cows come home, but what will change? McGuinty and his back from the living dead minion are only out to appease those that can’t exist without a hand up.The property owners affected?Well sorry for your luck patience it seems is a liberal virtue and a “Canadian Value”.When it comes to a liberal government “sucking” on a minorities schlong that’s all their good for these days whether it’s terrorist organizations or natives in Caledonia. Wrong is right- right is wrong thats their motto.

Don’t make waves god forbid, peace and goodwill and all that crap. This wouldn’t be so bad if the fact it would all end for a good amount of time, and everyone basically existed toiling on different paths headed in the same direction , and respected each other for that.
Trouble is “spare the rod spoil the child” rings true in this case and for generations to come.

However colour trumps logic, good sense, and the heart of the matter. Not to the “white trash” (me included) we seem to think the natives have it in them to rise up and make something of themselves .Governments don’t and either do some Indians themselves.

So the residents of Caledonia are at impasse, how many weeks now have they been asked to eat shit? They don’t really have a choice when it comes to the laws of the land when they are being ignored.

I know…. I know the natives have been eating shit for 200 years, one difference though all it takes for them to change their diet of “crap” is to hold their own spoon , get out of their imaginary high chair and feed themselves a healthy dose of pride. The “whitey’s” either sit back and continue choking on McGuinty’s liberal B.S. or start making some noise like they did this morning. Of course to some that makes them no better than the Indians, but I say they are standing up for all of us that don’t want to be waiting for the next episode of a “Land Claim Near You” brought to you by your friendly neighbourhood peacenik liberal. That would sell YOUR farm for a little momentary peace. After all you kids hard work can cover the next land claim down the road ten years from now.

That’s progress heh? Do we wait for the (entitled) natives to get it? Wait for governments to give it all away , at any cost even for the wrong reasons. When “private property” becomes no more than a native bargaining chip and governments spit on those that own it shouldn’t more than patience be expected by land owners and residents affected by whats happening. I’m not suggesting bullets need to fly, but I certainly would understand anyone who has lived and paid taxes on their property being a very loud pain in the ass to those that want to take it . Especially when the law has been abandoned and their security and maybe the one reason they charge on every Monday comes into question by people of a different race and colour, and those in government that exist in their own Utopia , the working man never has time to fathom because its a fantasy in their world.

Maybe peace isn’t going to cut it anymore? Maybe a gigantic mass of non-natives (stupid word) whites rolling silently at a steady pace across Caledonia's no mans lands in a clear direction will send the message to whiners that really on a grand scale are worthless (they seem to think so) along with the governments that forget diapers are for babies that they are not going to stand for actions that bring life as they know it to a stand still…... after all we all are paying our dues to life an honest life in this country, and don't ask for much.

Choices are becoming fewer and far between to the working masses and when does the price become to high to pay for whats delivered? Maybe its time the signal enough is sent…….. LOUDLY to counter Liberal inaction, other than their sale of our values that have built this country and once where held in esteem by all parties in government once upon a time.

We are watching the citizens of Caledonia being spoon fed shit and they are saying it is , rightly so.Even when the government thinks its apple pie. So far they have been just holding their nose.

Do you want to wait for your mouth full ?

Wake up Ontario !!

It seems when one reads between the lines, it is not hard to see when it comes to moments of the self- sufficiency, honesty, and enjoyment of freedoms that benefit more than just ones self. There is a liberal, or a socialist waiting to tread on rural values and the freedom that allows one to enjoy freedom to its fullest honest intent, and experience life in an honest natural way.

Why? Simply because they fear our clarity, our sense of freedom, and the value we put on being “chainless”. B.S. isn’t something we hold dear especially when it comes from government, even if apathy has become something to be desired. Still though there is in many the feeling that something is very wrong with democracy. We wonder when we slipped from being the customer who was always right, to the customer that’s told what they want to hear, then never waited on with concrete answers. People that think for themselves stand in the way of governments, which would much rather control rather than govern with integrity

The ability to loudly call our government to task simmers within many who cast a blind glance to the reasons for the way things are. All that’s needed is those that bravely stand up to the truth that exists today especially in this province to be heard by all. A better province and a better country is at hand. The trouble is in order for this to be so, modern liberals and socialists need to be driven back from where they came. The cesspool of meddling intellect.

We have in this province Bruce Montague , Randy Hillier, Shawn Carmicheal just to name a few that come to mind. The things they have in common are they are rural , out spoken , brazen , believe in freedom( so much they will sacrifice their own), less government and are seen by the liberals in this province as subjects (make subservient; force to submit or subdue) that should be seen not heard - click the links.

Shame sadly goes missing in those of us that fail to grasp the vindictiveness that lies within these urban meddlers who feed from bottomless troughs, and truly see themselves as our saviours who limit our freedoms with a smile. Just look at this latest triumphant brain fart spouted forth like its some gift by Ontario’s holier than thou health minister.
Thankfully he quickly back-pedalled only to reveal how haphazardly laws come to be if only to demonstrate ones “use” yet ironically demonstrates how useless they really are when they fail to consider an individuals freedom in the first place.

Sadly something liberals and socialists fail to grasp as a natural function of governing, as they would rather rule, and spread self prescribed misery, lies, and corruption like the plague.

Heres a heartwarming story

"This appears to be an act of official frustration, not one of those cosmetic attempts to placate the right. The Minutemen, denounced as vigilantes by President Bush but greatly respected in the state, are now building a fence on private land along the Mexican border. They are going national too, with chapters popping up in Virginia and elsewhere" (link)

I know as a Canadian I felt alarmed seeing thousands of protesters crying to be let into the US "scot free", so I can only imagine how those that live in the states feel seeing whats going down right under their noses.

Its great seeing FREE citizens stand up for themselves, and do whats right.

More Liberal supplied B.S.

As things stand in society today, I wonder how many people have experienced situations where one parent takes a stand, and tries to correct a childs bad behaviour, and the other undermines their effort completely, derailing the whole process of raising a child responsibly. I've seen it and experienced it personally though not in a very damaging way, never the less some people don't see the big picture - little Johnny and Jane grow and will they have enough the brain power, backbone and moral acuity to be good people of value to themselves and society?

Parents have instilled these values for decades, not perfectly but they did their best, some better than others, however a parent could come up alittle short for there where adults that wanted children to be good people that knew the sence of responsibilty before the "virtue" of an excuse.

Then modern liberalism came along all touchy-feely, wielding a degree , and a hate on for tradition. Shame for an earned action, to a liberal is debilitating to the soul , rather than a hereditary marker not to do that again. Time outs , and he or she doesn't know any better replaced, I know your smarter than that, brighten up.

At one time I think the majority seen hope and a potential for goodness in a childs eyes, and knew to coddle a sence of idle individualism in a child before they showed signs of getting the hierarchy of life when it came to family , personal growth, and how you respected others in your community was a sure fire way to ruin the child, take the temper out of their responsibilty to the world around them , and basically raise a problem instead of a grown responsible adult that could think their way into old age and actually acquire honest self discovered wisdom while grasping reality clearly by the horns and dealing with it.

That was the instinctive wisdom of the day imparted thru generations of families by parents that where respected by governments, that valued the same principles that where planted like seeds to grow in an honest and fertile mind of young human beings that where allowed to grow in a healthy nurturing enviorment by loving caring parents and their families that seen raising a good person as a virtue, not a pain but a requirement of being a parent, adult, and a member of a community.

Certainly it all wasn't perfect some fell thru the cracks , and fell hard with no excuses(at least valuable ones) there to catch them and give them the easy way out. They either got the point or didn't and slept in the bed they made, with not many willing to reward the irresponsibility of the individual. Life and its keen hard realities at one time made great teaching aids that didn't cost a cent. Growing to adulthood was just that a natural evolution expected and demanded by society, and delivered upon by duteous parents.

Then came the socialists and liberals one in the same, and slowly over the years wrongs where made right even though wrong and right over time in more ways than not in reality, had the same affect to the real victims and the society they lived in, as consequence and personal responsibilty by the perpetrators dwindled. Tolerance became a buzz word and a muzzle for liberals in defence of their instinctive visions of the utopia only they can deliver, on the wings of progress.Served on a government platter with conditions in fine print. Canadians willingly surrendered to government supplied faux values, drunk on the liberal virtue of self sacrifice for exactly that yourself .Little did they know then how upside down our country was(is) in danger of becoming.

Today more are maybe questioning the validity of their independance while chasing government carrots on a string, or ceding to the price of government sponsored social engineering ,that only values government intervention in as many aspects of an individuals life, that it can slink into , even raising our children, and worst of all undermining and hijacking time honored parental values.

The hypocrisy of the left and its failures to date can be clearly seen in this stupid (you can insert what you like) statement by Carolyn Bennet on the conservatives "failure" to play pied piper, in their budget.

If conservatisim is so detrimental and liberalism such the opposite when it comes to child developement? Why then over time as Canada became liberalised have jails not disappeared from our landscape entirely, why do gangs in our cities incite wars that harm the innocent, why do mothers leave month old children to starve in their cribs, why do social agencies scramble to do everything from feed children breakfast, to find them a home for a weekend. Is this the utopia Canadians value? It certainly is what liberals like Carrol Bennet defend.

The truth of the matter and real crime of liberals and their ilk, is their abilty and need to control whats said and whats thought to hide what they know - the fallacy in their ideology . An idealogy that can only exsist when there is a good deal of guilt and denial present in the masses that roll over and cede control of their lives and whats important to them to changelings.

What kind of parent sees themselves as unable to instill values that will carry the day for their child? One would have to logically say either a liberal one, or a parent that just doesn't really care. On second thought they are one in the same.

I guess we are the "Israeli's"

I stopped by Dust My broom to check out whats new in regards to the stand off at Caledonia, and I couldn't believe what I was reading. One always wonders about the self serving stabilty of a liberal minion but it articles like these that definately tender the fact the bats have escaped the bellfry.

Certainly perceptions from either side are deeply rooted, but it isn't hard to spot a "perfect" negotiator and their abilty to play boths sides of the fence. I will guess though Peterson is negotiating while holding sympathy close to his haemorrhaging heart for the "Palestinians" (natives) and views with disdain the wall (intolerance) we "Israeli's"have built that stymies any attempt at self reliance by Native Americans.

For some reason the feeling of guilt, protesting natives would love to saddle us with doesn't register on my guilt scale and its a pretty sensitive one at that.

Peterson may have charisma, but as far as I can tell his sweet talk and wit in reality is hidden by a government brinks truck and a blank cheque that he holds out like a carrot, and tries to remove right and wrong from the equation with money.

Where will the lasting peace be found? Not in an appeaser holding a government purse, because sweet talk , and money only last so long. Sooner or later those the excell at being lazy asses will need another fix.

Maybe Peterson should note many non-natives don't want barriers when it comes to employment in the least when it comes to natives or any other "grandfathered victim". Non-natives would rather or at least hope and welcome more natives and those like them that take the time to pick themselves up and do something honest with their lives instead of waiting for nice weather to stage a protest, and be somebody with a book of matches, guess we are lucky they haven't strapped pipe bombs to themselves, and maybe they are lucky we haven't clanked thru Caledonia with one of these

Just another disgrace when it comes to hard work and honesty

If you own land, run a business , or expect to earn an honest living minding your own matters, while being responsible for yourself and your family. Make sure you don't live near a reserve.

Now before I go on I have the upmost respect for anyone of any color that works for a living, pays taxes, or those that don't but live with who they are within the circumstances they find themselves with honorable intentions that don't chant"I AM A VICTIM" anytime they see a chance.

Hearing and reading about what is transpiring in Caledonia my blood gets to boiling.

Nice to see a Mayor call a spade a spade when she said the local businesses of Caledonia where hurting, and they didn't have the benefit of an automatic paycheck. Feathers of course got ruffled; the truth does hurt.

Why do we let natives hold us hostage? Do they not possess brains, two hands, and feet like the rest of humanity? Why do liberals only recognize tradition when it comes to the color of someones skin as long as it isn't white? Isn't respect earned, and when was the last time you seen a native, someone on welfare, a stoned bum, or for that matter a politician earn it?

Something all the above have in common is their perception that they are entitled to respect they never earned in the first place. Maybe at one point in time, but I fail to see how residents of Canada, Ontario, least of all Caledonia even owe certain natives "the time of day" when they seem to have forgotten how to look for themselves. I don't blame anyone being pissed about that fact one bit.

"Luckily" we have McGuinty, tazers and pepper spray. Which by the way now are useless as the police said they will not raid the occupants camp again after a previous raid failed, and politicians of the liberal socialist variety feigned horror at the fact violence reared its ugly head and their backbones reverted back to jelly , how nice and touching.

I know how self reliant tax paying residents feel, I lived near Ipperwash and witnessed the total insanity of political correctness, and how the guilty cower behind its perception by those too weak to set the truth free.

Taxpayers and the truth carry the burdon natives have forgotten for its easier to be a pain use your color or your blood line to gain favor, of course it easier to take the time to be a pain when you know a cheques coming that isn't dependent, on your job performance, character, hours worked or personal worth to those that pay you.

The incidents like those at Ipperwash, Oka, and now Caledonia when the victims , those victims of their own stupidity and slothfulness are being the pain and holding communities, land owners, and buisnesses hostage. While government diddy daddles with sugar coated nicety, so natives can find or be handed their worth from somebody other than themselves. While others that know their worth no matter their color, or race while working to forge their own place and worth .Even while living with the setbacks and dishonesty ripe in todays world, and they themselves fall victim to their own stupidity also. The difference being they have learned from their mistakes and even then many never get the respect they have earned by being stand up individuals in this country while moving on productively with a smile on their face , instead of becoming the dead weight many native protesters like to be, while receiving our tax dollars.

Its time to say sorry for your luck, heres your kick at self government, our laws are your laws when it comes to buisness administration, taxes, paying for your legal fees etc etc....... their isn't much room for negotiation but heres the kick at the can you want, just like "everyone else" (mostly everybody) otherwise live with your selfish stupidity, like its nature intends.

All you have to do is try and quit expecting something from the rest of Canada the war of 1812 was long ago, and our veterans that fought in WW 2 get sold short so quit whining start making the change into a nation the earns respect, not searching for it like a whining pup searching for a teat.

I don't owe you anything, my children certainly don't, nor do my neighbours, only the respect you have HONESTLY EARNED no matter your creed, color or religion.

Oh and only the guilty need feel offended.

Update : One could only" hope
" (the perception of the indian problem is false though)

Liberal Repellant

Surfin the net today I think I stumbled on a stop gap measure to get a liberal out of your face: The Moon!

It seems the moon smells like......GUNPOWDER !!

Yes ....that is if the dust from it can be mined, mixed with skunk piss and made to be sprayed like bear repellant.

What a perfect ingredient for a liberal repellant, even if it didn't work it would make a great gag gift, remember those pet rocks?

I know you could also just use the truth, good news about Iraq , a picture of a clubbed seal, or all the bad points about Kyoto, you know the usual but just like swatting a mosquito(that can't stand the sight of blood), it gets laborious after awhile.

It seems the truth can be clubbed just like a seal

This past Friday while waiting for dump trucks to arrive at the job site, I had the chance to listen to Focus 980 a local call in show hosted by a conservative I usually agree with.
He was having Cathy Kangas as a guest. She was offering the Canadian government 16 million dollars to end the seal hunt.

Mr Wilson the host of the show seem to grow of the opinion Mrs. Kangas wasn’t out to lunch as others at PETA and like organizations usually are. However it didn’t take much time for the listener to hear Kangis and summize though articulate and coming from a different direction she, under the surface differs very little from McCartney and company.

After hearing Kangas not far in, state that there where two victims when it came to the seal hunt one being the fisherman, the other being the seals. That statement in itself is red flag number one. As soon as you hear a person use victim whether its about an animal ,welfare recipient , or a young man turning to crime you know logic is suddenly suspect, and their view that honest human beings that exist amidst certain responsibilities and natural rules are close minded, barbaric, and rather stupid. It also was easy to hear her half hearted but calculated support for the fisherman, who she said where supporting of her offer, something not surprising really as even the best of us will sell out our principles.

True to the left leaning form of your generic animal rights activist she mentioned making the seal hunters park rangers who would inoculate the seals rendering them sterile, however she also mentioned the danger involved in clubbing seals. I guess she fails to see the danger in walking over the same ice floes to inoculate them as clubbing them. Plus a club is not as sharp as a needle.

If anything Kangas was skilled in her ability of deception, and playing both sides of the fence ; a liberal strong point.

Many questioned her views , though praised her persona on the show however she was a snake oil salesmen and a good one at that, she didn’t mention that the 16 million dollars was coming from private donations, and other animal rights activist groups, she seemed content to let it stand that the money was hers? She also seemed to like the fact that the host John Wilson was referring to her point of view as being different and unemotional compared to others that have spoken out against the seal hunt.

I contended that she was good at hiding that emotion, I’m sure she harbours those emotions but knew as the left goes that their hair brained ideals when it comes to the way things are in our natural kingdom usually leads many to view animals rights activists as nuts..... rightly so.

Having heard enough I called in, wishing Kangas no ill will I called her on her bluff , and stated I see no difference between her and McCartney or any other A.R.A other than a good chunk of change, Mr Wilson disagreed with me, however there are realities we all must face in this world and those are if you live something living must die so you do so. You cannot remove yourself from that fact(without dying) , we all kill something to survive though maybe indirectly.

The final nail that signalled to me Kangas was a fraud when it came to objectivity, and a reasonable view on human existence amongst the animal kingdom came when she referred to my call as moot when it came to the right and wrong of killing animals. Her moral relativity , and lack of respect for a wrong and a right leaves me wondering how she than can be for or against the seal hunt when she cannot have the courage to believe in right and wrong when it comes to something she believes in. I asked if she was a member of PETA? She replied “no”, however on getting home from work and doing a search I found she was a member of The Sea Shepards " Certainly she wasn't totally dishonest nor was she totally truthfull she knew what I was digging for it was what she was hiding ; her resemblance in ideals to thiswoman and these organizations and their inability to stand anything they find unpleasent to their sensibilities and their inability to admit that they to are just as much a killer as Joe Blow hunter and trapper, and the only way we stop taking from this planet is when we cease to exsist. Hunters and trappers and those that take reality for what it is, accept that fact nor do they see value in an living organisims extinction no matter how cute it is.

Kangas and company, Paul included are not able to handle that fact and animals will always come before people, and truth and logic. I wonder what their views are when it comes to their lives and livelyhoods.

Cathy you don't fool me.

Don't you just love the smell of a revolution in the morning ?

Well here is one group of farmer’s that where not sitting in the local coffee shop “bitching”, and doing nothing but watching things stay the same. One has to respect the backbone of the farmer in question and his neighbours that walked a dangerous line against the police and bureaucrats’. One also has to wonder at the motives of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and the egg producers’ board had in raiding his farm, but wouldn’t you think they would have known a visit from the Lanark Landowners Association was a likely event?

I almost think the powers that be namely Mcgiveme would love for the L.L.A to go pound salt and disappear, and one wonders if he isn't testing the rural resolve or trying to break it? Like I have said before governments like his fear citizens like Shawn Carmichael and Mr Hiller, who love the taste freedom can give a person but would like a good feed of it, and realise governments love just giving you little spoonfuls even though it is not theirs to give in the first place.

They demanded respect and I think quite rightly said with their actions“ WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE” maybe its time other farmers in Ontario quit riding on these kind of honourable actions, quit bitching and do something about it.

Farmers better wake up take heed, even grab a pitchfork and demand some freedom. All rural people not just the people that reside in rural locations, but those that know what the rural self reliant character is all about, should stand together as one and peacefully “SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF THOSE IN GOVERNMENT THAT SEEK TO CONTROL THE FREE MAN”.

Quit crying for money neighbours and demand more respect less regulation. Peacefully tell those like McGiveme that could not give a rat’s ass for “backwards hicks” that vote conservative or have libertarian leanings to “F*ck off” for a change.

This story should be an inspiration to all farmers, business owners, actually anyone that believes in freedom, to stand up.

UPDATE: here is a more detailed recollection of the whole standoff

Genuine respect seems to be a conservative quality.

It has been reported under Harper’s watch that flags around our capitol haven’t been lowered to half mast when one of our own has fallen in Afghanistan? They where however lowered to half-mast by the liberals every time a soldier fell except for one?

Is it not our duty as citizens to lower our own “internal flag” when we hear of a soldier’s sacrifice whether it was yesterday or in the conflicts of the past, that at one time helped define who we where as a country? Is it not a small repayment, to stand ready and honour our soldiers, and their commitment to their country? Without the need of a lowered flag?

Do we continually lower our flag for every soldier, or continually keep our awareness of how important our soldiers are and have been to our country and the world? Do we look towards all of our soldiers past and present with equal admiration and thanks daily, or at the very least save a spot in our hearts for their remembrance, and honour them in keeping their worth known in our minds as fighting men that have always fought the good fight?

If it is a duty to lower a flag for the fallen, then all flags in this country should never be raised over half. Why do we need a flag lowered for every life in the present to spike some form of rememberance? Those that have fallen I am sure would rather be respected and honoured as second nature, and have that same respect shown to their fellow troops and families by their government and their fellow citizen’s.

Could it be Canada has a political party that is of the character that has respect for the military, and expects the same from its citizens? Do we finally have a political party that holds the belief that every citizen should be able to recognize the significance of a soldiers sacrifice everyday? After so many years do we have a PM that finds it personally distasteful to patronize a loss common in military service especially in a theatre of war by lowering a symbol shortly? It does not do the deed merit, when the honourable act of a soldier requires so much from those living under the peace and freedom he protected for more than a day. Our character as a country should honesty reflect a soldier’s duty not to die but be honourable, and righteous in the face of adversity and evil.

That I think defines the Canada Harper would like us to be, and many have in their selfishness forgot.

A Good Read

The difference between a good parent and the best parent

In reading a post tonight from a concerned mother, who is divorced. I couldn'’t help but see the signs of the same syndrome, that seems to me to be one of the many side affects of divorce. Not just prevalent in divorce but more harmful to a child in a family divided by that invisible barrier only the wise take heed of, and learn from.

The mother upon learning of her twelve year old daughter'’s desire to acquire a expensive puppy, tries to impress upon her daughter that her desire is hers alone to fulfill, as in reality we have to gradually wean the little teenage "“ monsters"”. In other words the mother wants her to earn it. However the father has different ideas, he thinks the daughter is too young etc etc.

However the fact remains life dictates our wants can only really be supplied by our own work, our parents pass eventually, and money doesn'’t grow on trees planted by liberals and socialists. In reality in this society our wants directly fall in behind our duties -– taxes, bills a roof over our heads, being parents that pass on more than money.

What better way to foster character and a better grasp of who they are as an individual in a thinking young human being, then have them learn how to work from someone other than family ? They need to learn how it feels to be criticized, scrutinized by a boss who demands value from them without the hug afterwards, and being tired from more than watching Much Music or talking on the phone, and the clincher? Maybe failing; the most scary unpleasant feeling of the whole mix. Maybe they will learn a valuable lesson, and they will mature in more ways than just a birth date?

How could a father or a mother not want their child to grow in a natural way? While certainly being concerned that the hammer life can be doesn'’t make their child the anvil before they develope the mental hardness to take its blows.

The father is just delaying the inevitable, the mother wants to get it over and done with as life is with all certainly waiting to show what it has in store, and we all get to see in no uncertain fashion, how unpleasant some moments can be, and those moments to each and every individual are defining ones no question.

Those lessons, some of the most valuable are lost most easily to children between divorced parents, the arguments in many cases to the children are explained second hand, as they see one side at a time, and unfortunately I fear in most cases one parent takes the easy road and coddles, and "“dutifully"” says what the child wants to hear, just to be revered and thought of fondly or the best - that'’s cheating, and coming from an adult despicable and sad.

We aren'’t perfect , children aren'’t perfect, and life isn'’t perfect and the sooner a child learns to put a smile on their own face from those honourable moments in life that matter most when we really feel our smile, they will be better off. Just as a parent would be better off realizing we aren'’t going to be around forever , and our children can either cheat at life, or take what wisdom we as parents or concerned adults pass on and someday they as adults and parents connect the dots and realise what life is all about, and what duty a parent really has - to pass on lessons with caring and the knowledge that someday their child is going to be called upon to be an adult, and they aren'’t going to be around to protect them.

My greatest reward in life ?– The day my daughters realise why “I was "the sternest bastard in the world"”, because I loved them so much to be anything else and their beauty and value has only grown as they have. I truly believe even with the hardships, the temporary fears of not being a good parent, my daughters have given me more than I will ever be able to repay to them, and it is a disservice to their beauty, character, and honest innocence to shield them at 11 and 14 from what life has in store, good or bad.

In her post the mother talks of her sins. Where is the sin in reality, when it truly exists in denial?

It's nice to be noticed

I have a thank you to put out there for Kate at Small Dead Animals, she took the time to link to me - and today my page views are up 365% (my free service stops at 1000 page views per day), too bad it wasn't because of something I wrote :). I really appreciate the time she takes to produce her blog, go thru all her emails, yet get on with her seemingly busy life. I find it hard and I'm surely not as busy, of course I'm an amateur when it comes to blogging, even writing.
I'm just saying thanks to Kate for her time.
She seems like a salt of the earth gal - but then most conservative women are.

Where are the left's balls?

You know I once told someone who had their undies in a knot over America and Iraq that they should not get so upset. Once democracy takes hold there as it has, and time goes by soon Iraq will have a divorce rate the same as ours is today, feminism will be in full swing and all of our other little bad habits when it comes to culture will be apparent, it’s just a side affect of “progressiveness” and politics.
So Jack what do you want your all for change? It seems to me you should be supporting our troops that are trying to bring a change for the better to another war torn society.
Your all for human rites at “all” costs, progressive ideals propelled out into society without much thought or concern?
Yet when soldiers that represent a modern country Iike Canada, put themselves in harms way, and inevitably bad things start to happen. We lose boys, and the realisation that the world can be a pretty barbaric place hits close to home, the left recoils blames the “evil”
Americans and wants to bring the boys home.
Our soldiers always fought the good fight, but somehow under the left the feeling was lost. It was like a father sending off a son he could really give a rats ass for. Nice to see there is some genuine concern by our government for our men and women in uniform that are trained to kill the bad guys, and help those that can’t help themselves.
I can't pretend to say what we should do with the troops in Afghanistan. For one I’m not a parent of a soldier, and have never served in the military. However if our men and women want to be there, feel they are making the lives of the good people there better, and killing the bad ones. I’ll proudly support them being there, just like our new PM ; with a longed for lump of pride for my country in my throat.
God Bless the soldiers in harms way and their families, and may Canada find some of its fortitude we have always had but have lost along the way.

Its a small world

Reading the local newspaper this week I was surprised to find some encouraging news that could help suggest Stephen Harper hasn't lost touch with the common man, and intends to keep with his promises.I found it even more surprising that it came from a good friend of mine I attended public and high school with. I took the liberty of scanning the paper and posting the article.

McGuinty - Does he want a medal or a chest to pin it on?

If you can imagine being back in public school at recess listening to the classic whiney tattletale voice his disdain over some perceived unfairness to the nearest teacher. It wouldn't be hard to see the similarities between Dalton Mcguinty and that one annoying brat we all remember.
Alberta proposes giving people that can pay the choice to get the care they need privately and Ontario's liberal premier screams blue murder, and seems to think that won't be Ontarios way.
Of course Dalton being the model liberal would rather just nailthose that work, with a claw back at tax time. Notice freedom of choice when it comes to your health isn't part of "McGiveme's" governing style. There is one choice he recognizes though and supports, the ability for an Ontarian to not work, whine about being a victim well collecting welfare, and getting off scott free when it comes to paying for the services they use, and being considered equal . They are no doubt behind McGuinty and his whining 100 % I'm sure.
McGuinty's disapproval of Alberta's plan should be met with a big meaty middle finger from those in Canada that like to have choice when it comes to themselves and their families welfare. I like politicians that have the fortitude to give the citizen's they represent a choice McGuinty and those that voted him in are still looking for theirs.
The biggest problem with McGuinty is hes full of the brown stuff, yet thinks he knows best.
Maybe he should stop governing like Toronto is all of Ontario, and worry about freedom of choice in his own province before he starts telling others what to do.
